Through :iconanicomicgeek: journal, he posted the unfortunate passing of John Stephenson, who along with being a voice actor was also a character actor in the 50s and 60s.

Aside from the more obvious roles such as:
Mr. Slate
Thundercracker
Huffer
Windcharger
Dr. Benton Quest (which he shared with the late Don Messick)
Various villains in Scooby Doo

He was also
Luke and Blubber Bear in Wacky Races
General Flagg in GI Joe
The Witch King in the Rankin Bass version of the Return of the King (to which I found to be a poor choice for the role)
Fancy-Fancy on Top Cat

But he also did live action shows appearances such as
Perry Mason
F-Troop
the closing narrator in Dragnet

Even though many of these great voice actors are gone, but I do find some comfort in the fact that they still live on in the body of work they leave behind.

I so wish they'd put F-Troop back on, least for here.
